Marie Elisabeth Lüders Haus

Marie Elisabeth Lüders Haus, The scientific service centre of the German Parliament is part of the “Federal Row”, an architectural symbol of German unity.
This new building, inaugurated in 2003, owes its name to the social politician and women’s rights campaigner Marie Elisabeth Lüders. Alongside the Parliamentary Library and specialist scientific service providers it also accommodates a Wall memorial open to the public. Parts of the Berlin Wall have been rebuilt here to commemorate the division of the city along the former route of the Wall.

The setting moon

A study on full moon setting over Dubai Skyline.

“Beauty is a form of genius – is higher, indeed, than genius, as it needs no explanation. It is of the great facts in the world like sunlight, or springtime, or the reflection in dark water of that silver shell we call the moon.”

Oscar Wilde

A curious one

A curious seagull over Dubai Creek.

“Your whole body… is nothing more than your thought itself, in a form you can see. Break the chains of your thought, and you break the chains of your body, too…” Jonathan Livingston a Seagull

Dhow Harbour

There’s something fascinating about sitting by the harbourside watching the beautiful dhows (traditional wooden cargo boats in this region) slip off to sea. Diera Dhow Harbour in Dubai is one one of the oldest port in this region. History of Dubai can be traced  back here.

Yesterday and Tomorrow

“Yesterday and tomorrow cross and mix on the skyline. The two are lost in a purple haze. One forgets, one waits.”
