Sunset with camels

Camel is very much part of the Emirati culture. There are few camels pens and racing tracks nested across the country. Once popular race track and training place is Al Marmoum Camel Racetrack. The picture above was taken during their training on a fine evening when the sun was going down.

Two Camels

Beyond the glitter and glamour of Dubai there are many camel farms doted outside the city. Once doesn’t need to drive far, they can be easily reached by car.
Camels do get scared when we approach them but once they get used to us they are very curious and friendly to us.

Baby Mynah

A fully feathered baby (called a fledgling) usually leaves the nest very early. Normally hide in bushes. They are not abandoned by their parents, they are always close by keeping an eye on their baby. Fledglings are often mistaken for birds that are injured or unable to fly when, on the contrary, they’re actually learning how to fly. A fledgling will hop out of the nest to perch on surrounding branches, or flutter to the ground, where it will be taught by the parents how to care for itself and find food.
